1st Pregnancy: Week 22

This morning was my monthly OB appointment at the regular doctor’s office. I met with #4 (Dr. Knudson) of the 8 possible doctors that could deliver Parker.

We finally have everyone on the same page for the due date. It originally was June 20th, now it is June 29th. So, every Monday is when my weeks change - making today officially the start of Week 22.

According to the fundal height, Parker’s size matches that of a 26 week baby - so I guess this confirms what the specialists said and he’s bigger than he’s supposed to be at this age. He had a heart beat of 145 bpm, which is still good. Plus, I’ve been feeling a lot more wiggling around in my tummy - so, I know he’s alive and “kicking.”

I scheduled my next regular OB appointment for Tuesday, March 24th. This will be with #5 (Dr. Leery) of the possible 8 doctors.

I’ll be taking the 3 hour glucose test one morning this week, I just haven’t figured out which one yet. I have to fast and then they’ll draw my blood 4 times within 3 hours. Not something I’m looking forward to - but you’ll do anything for your kids, right?

I guess that’s all there is to report from this doctor’s visit. Continue to keep Parker in your thoughts and prayers!
